Industrial Notes.---The contract for the Grand Island high school has been let for near $25,000. ---Nebraska State Journal Wednesday, June 28, 1882 (3:4).


Professor E. E. Dole, principal of the Grand Island high school, who has been visiting his father, returned home yesterday noon. ---Nebraska State Journal Friday, August 20, 1889 (6:4).


Grand Island Graduates' Banquet. ---Grand Island, June 24.---(Special to the Bee)---The second annual banquet of the Grand Island High School alumni was held in the parlors of the Palmer house last night, with sixty-eight members and guests present. After an interesting musical and literary program the following officers were elected: President, Charles Scarson, first vice presdient, Miss Kate Matthews; second vice predient, Emmor McMeans; sectary, Miss Dora Kalls; treasurer, Miss Mary Seavy; tonst master, Chauncey Nelsz. Prof. R. J. Barr, the principla of the schools, was presented with a fine leader self-rocking chair by the alumni. A banquet was served, accompanied by lively tastes. ---Omaha Daily Bee Sunday, June 25, 1893 (5:2).
