  1. Mary Jane (MARTIN) WASHBURN was granted an uncontested divorce from Charles D.M. WASHBURN, 16 Nov 1882, Albany county, Wyoming and she remarried twice.
  2. While his business took him out of town frequently, he seemed to have remained in Grand Island until 1891 when he sold his property to the bank.
  3. After 1891, he seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth.
  4. Note that he was age 43 and she was age 20 when married to each other. It is possible he had a previous family.
  5. What happened to Charles D.M. WASHBURN, my great-grandfather, after 1891.
