A SECOND BIRD'S EYE VIEW OF ELWOOD
(ca. 1900)

Contributed by:
William Mahar

This photograph was part of a large collection belonging to Gertie Mahar, grandmother of William Mahar. It seems to show a portion of the Elwood business district and residential area. This photo seems to have been taken from the water standpipe that is clearly visible in the left-center of the previous picture. There is no date on the photo, but it appears to be from the late 19th century or very early 20th century.
