This photograph was part of a large collection belonging to Gertie Mahar, grandmother of William Mahar. It shows a view of a tree lined residential area. This photo must have been taken from a rooftop; the water standpipe is clearly visible in the left-center of the picture. A sign within a larger sign on a rooftop (lower right corner) says, "E Z" Walker. Does it advertise a brand of shoe sold there?
