"[In] 1882 Uncle Will came to Nebr, batched awhile, went back to Ill, got married, brought his wife and came back to Nebr.  I talked to Ellen Haney, Uncle Will's oldest girl.  She said she remembered her mother saying about all you could see was chimneys sticking up over canyon banks so I guess she didn't think much of Nebr."
