My great grandmother Eliza or Jenny Anderson Acheson Streit lived in Dawson County in the Fairview area, south of Cozad. I have most of the information on the Anderson family, who were the children of William Anderson and Sarah Shera, who lived iin Decatur County Indiana. The children all moved to Dawson County, except for the son "Hammie". A cousin Fletcher Anderson lived in this area too, and at some point moved to California. Can anyone help me with Fletcher, including his date of death? Thank you. Carole Tucker.

FORREST - I am looking for my g-grandparents, John & Nettie (Ashby) Forrest. They supposedly lived in, or near, Lexington. My grandfather, Lute, was born August 12, 1892 somewhere in the same vicinity. I have located John's sister, Ruth Forrest Bell, and her husband, Terry L., in the listings for Greenwood Cemetery. POGGENDORF - Henry Herman Poggendorf immigrated from Germany to Buffalo N.Y. with 3 sister and father Henry Poggendorf. I see that Henry Herman Poggendorf was in Gothenburg, Dawson Co, Neb for the WWI draft.
There is also in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery the burials of Greta E., Paul H and Wilhelm R. Poggendorfs, are these related to Henry Herman Poggendorf? Is Henry Herman buried in Dawson Co. Sisters are located on Colo - would like to share.
