I am seeking information on Leonard Large who was my grandfather and an early resident of Dawson County. He was married to Daisy Sharp and they had one child, my father, Herbert Large. I believe Leonard Large was one of the founders of Dawson County and lived there when Lexington was called Plum Creek. He lived into his 90's and had several brothers, one of which was Tom Large. He was in his 60's when he married and Daisy Sharp was in her teens.

NOTE: Velte was 13 miles north of Lexington. See the new maps on the Resource page.
