My Grandfather was Hans Martin Christiansen, born in Cozad, Dawson County, NE, in the late 1800's. I don't know who his parents, brother's or sister's were. He married Edna Myrtle Bowman and they had one son, Richard LeRoy Christiansen. I'm looking for ANY information or ANYONE connected to the Christiansen or Bowman families.

DUNAWAY, John Neff; b. 1838 in Pennsylvania; m. Amy Maria Mincks on March 9, 1862 in Washington county, Ohio; migrated to Dawson county, NE in 1873. John Neff died August 22, 1910 in Overton, NE. Amy Maria died October 3, 1921, also in Overton. Their children were: Charles Ashmer, Osmer Ellsworth, Franklin Neff, and Mary Etta. I would like to share information about the family. I am looking for information on my Great Great grandparents I know my Great grandparents names and their children but that is all. They lived in Dawson Co in 1890. George Ray Preston son of Elmer and Laura Preston is my grandfather parents names. George Ray Preston was born on June 8, 1890 in Dawson co. He had that we know of a brother's named, Milton, Lester,and sisters name Lottie, Hattie, and Mable. Elmer and Laura Preston were married in South Dakota and celebrated their 50th anniversary in 1933. Elmer and Laura are buried in Elmwood, NE and so are my grandparents George Ray Preston and Gladys M Campbell Preston. We know that John, his brother Andrew, and a sister came to the U.S. We know that the sister was a Mrs. Otto Anderson, but do not know her first name. I am searching for the names Howell JOPLIN and Nettie BAKER who lived in Eddyville, Nebraska during the 1880's-1900's. They are my great grandparents. Their children were Karrie Violet JOPLIN, James JOPLIN, unknown male JOPLIN. The sons boh served during WWI. Nettie BAKER-JOPLIN Died abt 1916. Anders Eriksson b. 1855 Jan. 2, wife Kristina Sofia b. 1858 March 26, children Hanna Sofia b. 1883, Einar b. 1884 Nov. 28, Signe Teresia b. 1890 Feb. 15, Karl Axel b. 1892 May 9 and Gerda Erika b. 1894 May 10. They left Varnum, Sweden, in 1894 and probably joined Kristina Sofia´s sister Ulrika who lived somewhere in Nebraska before and after 1913 with her husband (name unknown) and two daughters.

There is David Muirhead b. 1865, William Guthrie b. 1851, Henry Vandruff b. 1853, Lucius Mullen b. 1845 and William H. Logan b. 1867. Some were in WW I. These men all married Logans.
