Married: Ronald Gene Alexander on June 21, 1963, in Broken Bow
Worked at St. Mary’s Hospital and the Memorial Hospital, both in North Platte, in the surgery department, and then was the director of nursing in the geriatrics; worked at Great Plains Regional Medical Center, and then with the offices of Drs. Buckland and O’Holleran, also in North Platte; finished her nursing career as director of nursing at the Sutherland Nursing Home
Activities: enjoyed serve our Lord and sharing his joy and love with everyone she met; was known by many as the jewelry lady and also the book lady but best known as a friend and mentor to many; was heavily involved with the Velvet Spurs, Miss Rodeo Nebraska, Christian Women’s group and her church; had many friends in the Meadowlark Manor community; cherished her family

Activities: was an avid sports fan; hobbies included hunting, fishing, gardening and being outdoors; enjoyed watching his sons in all their sporting events; enjoyed making breakfast and playing cards in the goose blind and teaching his boys to hunt, especially enjoyed annual fishing trips to South Dakota with his sons, grandsons, brother and nephews; member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, was active in the food pantry and Liturgy Committee; past member of the Nebraska National Guard and the Riverside Cemetery Board and was a member of the American Legion and Sons of the American Legion at the time of his death; was a loyal University of Nebraska at Kearney Loper fan, for 32 years, was a member of the chain gang for all the UNK home football games

Was the first girl to play in a boys baseball league in Kearney, in 1975; excelled in basketball and volleyball for three years at Kearney High School; was a member of the 1978 Class A State Championship Volleyball Team; graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in biological sciences; attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb., and earned her Doctor of Medicine degree in 1988; while at UNMC, served as vice president of her class and was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society; did general surgery residency at the University of Virginia Medical School in Charlottesville, and there was voted top resident surgeon by her fellow surgical residents; later became chief surgical resident

Activities: was involved in many service organizations, Kearney First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Class; was most proud when his ideas blossomed into the Rotary Nature Barn at Cottonmill Park; also took great pleasure in the young people who worked for him throughout the years, calling them “Vince’s Angels.”
Survivors include: his wife of 51 years, Patty Burks Wright; sons, Jeremy (Annette) Wright, Andrew Wright and Casey (Sarah) Wright; and grandchildren, Isabella, Mendel and Stella

After marriage, lived on a farm southwest of Pleasanton; after Louis's death in a farming accident in 1968, continued to manage the family farm
Married: April 5, 1986, to Lee Rodehorst in Pleasanton; the couple farmed north of Kearney; moved into Kearney in 2014
Activities: active member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pleasanton, participated in the Altar Society and taught CCD classes; member and served as an officer of the Pleasanton American Legion Auxiliary; had served on the Farmers Mutual Insurance board; loved crocheting, gardening, reading and photography; enjoyed attending numerous sporting and music events to support her children, grandchildren and community; was passionate about her faith, her family and her family’s education
