Was a full-time minister for Jehovah’s Witnesses; had a strong faith and love for her ministry work; spent many hours sharing her faith with others
Activities: loved Husker football, flowers and plants; was an extremely talented seamstress and very creative; loved crafts and projects, making beautiful keepsakes for family and friends; enjoyed her many trips to Estes Park, Colo.; loved the beauty and peacefulness of the park was enamored by nature and truly loved to stop and smell the flowers

Activities: active member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church; loved serving as a greeter on Saturday evenings, welcomeed both parishioners and guests with a warm smile and conversation; member of the Knights of Columbus and the Kearney Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years; was active in Little League Baseball and also coached junior high basketball at Kearney Catholic for several years; his faith, his love for his family and his tireless work ethic remained constant; would have been married 52 years this August

Survivors include: her husband, Bernard of Kearney; son, Bruce Wimmer and his wife, Teresa, of Spring Hill, Fla.; daughter, Judith Upson and her husband, Ron, of Beaver City; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Viola Mueller of Kansas City, Mo.; sisters-in-law, Betty Miller of Kearney, Mo., and Darlene Pettygrove of Centralia, Ill.; brother-in-law, Sherman Stokes of Overland Park, Kan.; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family
Was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, E.E. and Merle (Guggenmos) Wimmer; two brothers, LeRoy Miller and Marvin Miller; two sisters, Evelyn Stokes and Ida Mae Walcott; and brothers-in-law, Harold Mueller, Bill Walcott and Robert Pettygrove
