Grew up in Worcester, graduated from Ascension High School; entered the Congregation of Corpus Christi Carmelites on July 15, 1957, and made her Final Profession on Aug. 15, 1965; studied at Salve Regina College in Newport, R.I., and obtained a bachelor’s degree in English, earned her master's degree in theology from Aquinas Institute
Spent most of her life in pastoral ministry; was engaged in teaching, home visiting, religious education, counseling and nursing, the latter at Good Samaritan Hospital; in retirement, served tirelessly at Mount Carmel Home before she became a resident; was affectionately known as “Sister Trouble” because of her mischievous traits and humor

After marriage, lived on a farm for eight hears in Madison County, in the Amherst area, 1962-1969; lived in Kearney and Holdrege, and returned to Kearney in 2012; opened the Villager Restaurant in Lexington, 1970; operated the Villager Restaurant in Kearney, 1971-1979, and the Villager Restaurant in Holdrege, 1975-2010
Activities: enjoyed playing cards and games of all kinds; loved to bake and share her cookies and baked goods; enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren’s sporting events and spending time with her family; passions were her family and her Lord, Jesus Christ; for Marie, her relationship with God and the church was her life; with Arnold, was instrumental in the formation of Kearney Christian Outreach Church which later became known as Grace Fellowship Church, and Marie and her entire family attended and served, leaving behind a legacy of faith and devotion to God

After discharge, farmed with his father; eventually entered into the milking business in 1966; sold the milking herd in 2003, but kept a few cows just for milk; enjoyed cheesemaking

Activities: loved her church, her family and her many friends, as well as her Cornhusker baseball, volleyball and football; enjoyed life immensely, and she remained independently active; in her last years, enjoyed sitting behind home plate at Haymarket Park cheering for the Husker baseball team, spending several days in Lincoln enjoying the National Volleyball Championships, taking a road trip to Des Moines, Iowa, to celebrate her brother’s birthday and climbing on the back of a Honda 1100 Shadow to cruise the Kearney area; enjoyed serving others with humility and grace
Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Ramona Heins of Des Moines and Lola Heins of Gothenburg, as well as many nieces and nephews; by her special Washington state family, John and Donna Kaylor and Cynthia and Michael Roth; her grandchildren, John and Michele Kaylor, James and Sybonei Kaylor, Geoffrey Kaylor and Gage Roth; along with 11 great-grandchildren

Married: Linoma Styskal, his high-school sweetheart, in 1967 in Fort Benning, Ga.
Military: attended U.S. Army Officer Candidate School at Fort Benning, served in Vietnam as an infantry officer in 1969, was stationed at the R&R Center in Waikiki; loved the islands and never left
Spent most of his adult working years in the insurance industry, was an agent for Mutual of New York and then Guardian Life Insurance Co.; loved working with people of all sorts

Activities: was a life member of Order of the Eastern Star 44, a Masonic-affiliated organization. served as Worthy Matron among other offices; volunteered with the Masonic Temple pasty crew for many years; member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Elizabeth Guild, Women’s Club, Business and Professional Women and the Red Hat Society; enjoyed making beautiful stained glass and ceramic gifts, loved cooking for her family and friends, and shared recipes and methods handed down from her Lebanese grandmother and mother; was a role model to her family and taught them how to plan, organize and manage for success; enjoyed traveling, visited many places in the US and beyond

Born Aug. 14, 1922, the only child of Tom and Winona Wolfe and is survived by several cousins
Sister Teresa, Dominican Sister of Peace, died just one week short of her 73rd year of religious profession; was professed in the former Kentucky Dominican Congregation
Earned her Bachelor of Arts in education/English/philosophy and master’s in education/English from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb.; also earned certification as a chaplain at the National Association of Catholic Chaplains from St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha
Ministered as a teacher and principal at schools in Nebraska, Illinois and Iowa; became the regional coordinator of the Western Region, 1966; became associate pastor of St. James Parish in Kearney, 1972; was named the associate chaplain of Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, 1977; also served Sister Paschala as proofreader of “Signadou, History of the Kentucky Dominican Sisters;” moved to Sansbury Care Center, 2004, began a ministry of prayer and presence; was kind, patient, compassionate as well as positive and cheerful in her outlook

Activities: was an avid bowler, enjoyed doing crafts and watching baseball and softball, especially when her family played; was a great Husker fan; her faith in Christ guided her life
Was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eugene; 10 brothers and four sisters, Sam, Marion, Fred, Harry, George, Benjamin “Junior,” Edith, Kenneth “Tub,” Raymond, Dorothy “Dot,” Betty, Roy, Kathryn “Tuttie” and Billy; son-in-law, Danny Saner; and great-granddaughter, Jocelynn
Survivors include: daughters, Debra Hilderbrand of North Platte and Dona Gleason-Kreutzer and Tim, Deanna Saner and Chuck Theis, all of Kearney; her son, Dale Yonker of North Platte; grandchildren, Jeromie, Melissa, Jason, Ryan, Justin, William, Matthew, Michael and Michelle; and 20 great-grandchildren
