WELLS, Evelyn "Ruth", 92, of Portland, Oregon, formerly of Miller, Neb., died of complications from a stroke Sunday, July 22, 2007, in a Portland hospital
Private burial: Aug. 5 at Hilltop Cemetery in Nyssa

Born March 26, 1915, in Arnold, Neb.
Parents: Raymond and Alice (Osborn) Hazzard
Married: 1935, to Forrest Wells; he preceded her in death
Survivors include her son, Randall of Beaverton; brothers, Kenneth Hazzard of Loveland, Colo., Walter Hazzard of Kearney, Neb., Raymond Hazzard of Miller and Harley Hazzard of Broomfield, Colo.; sister, Hazel Strickler of York, Neb.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
