Married: 1946, to DeLoy "Swede" Leach; lived in several communities, settled in Arapahoe in 1962; continued to live there until 2006
Activities: Cub Scout den mother, a Boy Scout leader, and later a Girl Scout leader; enjoyed teaching the skills of living off the land; previously served as community coordinator for the Easter Seal Society; past member of the Arapahoe Women's Club; member of the United Methodist Church; enjoyed learning new things; enjoyed arts and crafts and hands-on activities; was an excellent gardener
Survivors include her son, Dennis and his wife, Francis, of Morrison, Colo.; daughter, Sherry Stansberry and her fianc‚, Billy Channel of Kearney; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and friend, Susan Leach of Ord
Was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty (Smith) Neff; ex-husband, DeLoy Leach; and son, Donald, who died Feb. 24, 2003, as a result of exposure to Agent Orange in the Vietnam War
