Returned to Nebraska, leased his truck, drove coast to coast; eventually worked for Industrial Pipeline on Holdrege as a truck driver until retirement
Couple bought their home in east Kearney, had lived there for more than 50 years; would have celebrated their 67th anniversary on July 15
Activities: enjoyed football, attended many of the Cornhusker games at home and away and attended bowl games; enjoyed helping care for their 20-acre acreage
