NOTES: Charles Franklin Dailey; 1322 Avenue E, Kearney Buffalo Co., NE, son of Samuel and Angeline Dailey, was born May 1, 1855, at Strikor, Ohio. In 1865 he came with his parents to Hale, Missouri, where he grew to manhood. In 1877 he was married to Julia Miller. To this union 3 boys were born, all of whom have preceded him in death. Later he was married to Francis Kistler. To this union was born one son, Walter, who resides at Alton, Ill. In 1910 he was married to Celia Haney, who devotedly cared for him to the end. He passed away at his home in Kearney, March 23, 1938, at the age of 82 years, ten months and 23 days. Charles F. Dailey was a Kearney resident for thirty years. He leaves to mourn his departure a wife, one son, Walter, of Alton, Ill, a sister, Mrs O.G. Durham, of Rosston, Okla., and five grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

NOTES: died of brain tumor; John A. Dailey was born in Hale, Carroll Co., Missouri, October 19, 1878. He was married to Miss Mary Matzner, November 10, 1903. To this union was born three children, two boys and one girl; Clarise Charles, Roy Alvin, and Hazel Naomi (all born in Kearney, Buffalo Co., NE). In December 1903m he became a member of the Fraternal Union of America. December 2, 1907 he with his wife, united with the Christian church at Grand View and he remained a member until his death. He departed this life January 8, 1915, at the age of 36 years 2 months and 20 days. He leaves to mourn their loss a father, his wife and three children. Funeral services were held at the U.B. Church at Pleasanton, January 10, at 11:a m, conducted by Elder R.A. Giles, after which the body was laid in "the quiet city of the dead" to await the coming of the Resurrection morning.
