I would like to obtain a copy of an obituary for William C. Bentz (b. 2 Nov 1928 in Spencer, Boyd County, NE, d. 3 Mar 2004 in Lynch, NE). He was son of Gustav Bentz and Mary Edna Pratt. I am also interested in any details I can obtain on the Gus Bentz family including today's generation. My grandmother, Magdalena, was sister to Gus.

I am trying to learn about a tornado that crossed the state line from Boyd County into Gregory County about 1922 or thereabouts. This would have been about two miles East and about two miles south of Fairfax, SD and about 5 miles straight north of Anoka, NE and about a half mile or so West. I believe Ray Anderson and family lived on the south side of the line and Jerry Smolik family on the North side of the line near the crossing of the state line by this tornado. The Smolik family experienced much damage to their buildings. Any details about this tornado would be appreciated - especially wanting to pinpoint the date.

I am looking for information about the David Oliver Maddox family. He married Cora M Richards Dec 2,1885 in Fillmore County, NE. Cora died August 4, 1925 in Lynch. Would like to know where buried and if obits are available. I don't know when David Maddox died.

My grandmother was buried in the Bohemian Cemetary, Spencer, Nebraska:

Name - Matulka, Kristina (Billi, Lauts)
Born - 6 April 1873
Died - 11 December 1949
Married - Matulka, Jacob (Jake)
December 23, 1916
Prior Marriages - Billi, Frances
Lauts, Fritz (Fred)

Would request any assistance/information you may be able to share with me in tracking my grandmothers immigration to the United States. My best knowledge thus far has that she first immigrated from the Chezk Republic (Maiden Name - Nemec) Allegedly she imigrated to Corpus Cristi, Texas, and then moved to Spencer (Both of the these dates are unknown). She also had a brother who lived in Spencer (either Joseph or Frank Nemec).

I'm looking for anyone who might have information on the family of John Clarence Petersen and Blanche Etta Lister. I have info on her family, but little or nothing on his. I do know he was one of 10 children. Possibly his father was Rasmus Petersen fron Denmark. John or J.C. died and was buried in Hot Springs, SD, but was at one time a pharmacist in Spencer, and Pierce NE. I'm helping my good friend trace her family and any information would be greatly appreciated.
