I am looking for information on Gustav Bentz and his spouse Edna Pratt. I suspect they had Boyd county contacts because Edna's funeral was conducted at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Spencer on 12/6/2000. She was buried in the Union Cemetery (where is this cemetery?). Was Gus buried there also (he died in 1949)? Did the family live in the Spencer area at some time? I have their cildren as Maryon, Robert, Betty, Shirley, William and Katheryn. Any clues would be appreciated.

I would appreciate any information on the Morrison family who lived in Spencer, Boyd County, NE about 1919. Known names include Mrs. N.H. (or is it N.L.?) Morrison. This husband may have been a preacher. Newton Adelbert Morrison, who would have been 19 years old. Zee Morrison. There could be others, but I am not sure.

Would appreciate any information available on my Grand-Father Edward Whiting who moved to Boyd County about 1881. Believe the Town of Spencer was named after one of his old Army Captains. Thank you for any help you can give. Also any old photos that may be around of him, his family or the Whiting Bridge.
