Descendants of George and Carolina Leppens Hermsen are sought in order to gain information concerning the date of death of Carolina's mother, Allegonda VanDommelen Leppens, wife of Henry Leppens. Spelling variants of the Leppens name are known.

A relative from PA and I have been corresponding recently and she's interested in cemetery names for some of the Edwards graves ... can you research that for me?
I've worked with the NW IA Root Diggers on the "other" side of the family and they do the research and send a bill with the materials .... trust we can work out something like that.
We are a non-profit volunteer group and aren't able to do in-depth research. We can supply information if it's in resource material where we have access.
In the next few months I'll be coming to the Butte/Spencer area and will want to take pictures of the Edwards grave sites and the Christian/Elizabeth/Katherine Fuhrer and children's grave sites ... but the search for that information is another time.

I am looking for any information on my great great uncle John Swanson born December 1859. He came to America in 1891 and settled in Ware Township, Boyd County. He was listed in the both censuses of 1910 and 1920. He was married to Anna and probably Selma too. I believe he died after 1929 to 1960 and is buried somewhere at a cemetery within Boyd cemetery. He had a son Arthur born in 1907 or 1908.

I am interested in contacting any descendants of these people as I attempt to ascertain the date of death of Allegonda Leppens because she is a sibling of my own great-grandfather.

My grandparents, John & Katherine Serr emigrated in 1901 to Boyd Co. They had 2 daughters and John's mother, Barbara Serr.with them. Ship Manifest lists an aunt of John's and Sutton, NE as their destination. It's hard to read - Christina Visser or ? John filed first papers in Boyd Co; they moved around a bit, perhaps to Naper & Jamison area, then to Gregory Co, SD, by 1905. Any help with records as to who they came to in Boyd Co? Did Barbara stay and marry a Trautman? Did she die there by 1905 or 1906? Any record of burial in Boyd Co?
