Ralph Naper and George Hotaling each gave 40 acres of property for the town of Naper. It was originally going to be Naperville but a conflict with another name and it became Naper. Reference "History of Boyd County" by Laura Barnes 1938 Frank Hotaling Hotalingfl@aol.com

My father James Henry CLINCH was born in Knox County in 1928, his brother Ovin CLINCH in Knox in 1933. Their father James C. CLINCH was born also in Knox County just before the turn of the century. James C. CLINCH's parents were John and Elisabeth (PURCELL) CLINCH. John and Elisabeth (PURCELL) CLINCH lived in Lynch, they died when the Ponca Creek flooded in 1932. My father and his brother graduated from Lynch High School.
James C. CLINCH married Ona Waowna Burger daughter of William and Nancy (HOLCROFT) Burger.
Any family information I can receive would help!

Does anyone know where Glad Rock NE is/was located? Don't know if it was in Boyd Co. or some other Co. Grandfather Samuel Eagy was living there in 1885 when father Rollie Eagy was born. Need to know location very much.
