LAW, LAWS posted by Rev. Virgel C. Law on Wednesday, July 1, 1998

I am checking into Dr. Alonzo John LAW or John Law or Laws, who practiced medicine in Lynch, and Spencer, and around Holt Co., in the Late 1800's, and died following appendicitis surgery in Omaha or Lincoln in 1902, he also had a drug store in his office we believe. Some of the details are sketchy. Dr. Law was born August 1, 1852 in Guernsey Co., Ohio to Uriah and Letitia Law, he was married to Anna Eliz. Meredith first and later to Eliz. Fry (Elwood). He is buried in Long Pine, NE, east of Ainsworth where a son Frank Law lived, also a son Audley Law
lived there. Dr. Law may have practiced in Elkhorn and Schyler, NE., also? Any help would be appreciated as to his activities there. Thank you, Rev. Virgel C. Law, gggrandson, KC-MO.

KALAL posted by James J Kallal on Sunday, July 12, 1998

I seek vital records, ancestry and descendants of a certain Josef KALAL. His name is mentioned on page 270 of Rosicky's History book. She records that this Josef was born in 1858, location not stated and died in 1902, presumably in Boyd Co. There were also families with this surname in Knox County but the link, if any is not known to me. I am a KALAL surname genealogists and will share info I hold on this surname with all respondents.

WELSH posted by Peggy Hess on Tuesday, July 21, 1998

My grandmother was Agnes Cecelia WELSH. She was born September 17, 1895 in Verdel, NE according to my father's birth certificate. Her marriage certificate says she was baptized that same day in Lynch, NE. Her parents were Patrick (Bert) Welsh and Bridget O'Brien. Trying to find out if the family was living in the Lynch area. My father says he remembers going to his grandmothers farm, so apparently they had a farm. Any information would be appreciated.

TEADTKE, TIEDTKE posted by Scott Biede on Sunday, July 26, 1998

My grandmother was Eunice Higgins Teadtke of Lynch in Boyd County. She died early 1997. I don't know anything of the family before that, besides the fact that apparently the surname was changed from TIEDTKE to TEADTKE. Anybody out there know why? Or, can anyone send me in the right direction? Your help is greatly appreciated. Scott Biede

Any information you could give me would be very much appreciated. I would gladly pay for documentaion of his birth and death, if available.
Thanks so much, Edna Mae Brost

OTT, SERR posted by Janet Rumlow on Tuesday, July 28, 1998

Virginia (Boyd County) I am unable to access you thru clicking on the name on the GenWeb site so....hope this will get forwarded to you. - I've been negligent in telling you thank you for the info on my OTT - SERR inquiry that is currently posted. Since it has been solved and I have a copy of the marriage certificate from the county office, it can be removed from the inquiry list. There are two other OTTs that may have been naturalized while living in Boyd Co. - George and Michael. Are there records of this within the county and is there someone for hire that would do the research. I can give more details and am willing to pay for the search. Your help is much appreciated. Janet Rumlow.
