In the name of God Amen I MARGARET WADKINS of Caroline County in the State of Maryland, being sick and weake in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory and understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof, and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call one hence, do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form that is to say: First and principally, I commit my sole into the hands of Almighty God and my body to be dessently buried, then after that I leave my property as follows: ~
I first give and bequeath the sum of thirty dollars unto a child by the name of JACOBB DESHEALD if he shud live to come to the age of twenty one years, also with legal interest on the same untill paid.

Second, I give and bequeath the remainder of the money that my brother THOMAS WATKINS is due me unto my sister EASTER WADKINS ~

Third, I also give and bequeath the whole remainder of my property to my said sister EASTER WADKINS to her and at her disposal, as Witness my hand and seale this 24th day February 1813 ~

Caroline County Court } Then came DANIEL CHEZUM who offered this will for probate and made
The 22d March 1814 } oath on the holy Evangels of God that the aforegoing instrument of writing is the true and whole will and testament of MARGARET WATKINS late of Caroline County deceased that hath come to his hands or possession and that he doth not know of any others of a later date. ~
