Thomas F Garey Clk } Caroline County to wit: } Be it remembered that on the twelfth day of July in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three came James R Manship of Caroline County brought a deed of bargain & sale with five endorsements thereon and prayed to have the same enrolled among the Records of Caroline County and on the same day and year aforesaid the same deed and endorsements were enrolled as follows to wit: This Indenture made this Twenty first day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty three between Nehemiah E Nicols and Elizabeth Nicols his wife; Tristam Cox and Margaret Ann Cox his wife; Thomas B Leonard and Rachel Leonard his wife; Sarah A Kirby, Benjamin F Kirby,Abner Kirby and James T Kirby all of Talbot County in the state of Maryland; George Prouse of Caroline County in the state aforesaid; Thomas Kemp Sr; John Kemp and Ellen Kemp his wife;Thomas Emerson and Sarah Emerson his wife formerly Sarah Kemp; Robert Nickell and Ann Nickell his wife formerly Ann Kemp; William Hays and Elizabeth Hays his wife formerly Elizabeth Kemp of the County of Davies in the state of Missouri; George Kemp and Rebecka Kemp his wife of the County of Tippacanoe in the state of Indiana; John Orem and Sophie Orem his wife of the County of Harrison in the state of Missouri; Frisby W Yoe and Mary Yoe his wife of Marion County in the state of Ohio; George Prouse, Thomas Anderson and Ann Anderson his wife, and Henrietta Prouse of the County of Pickaway in the state of Ohio; Aaron Orem and Eliza Orem his wife; Aaron D Berry and Margaret Berry his wife of the County of Auglaize in the state of Ohio; and John Goslee and Diane Goslee his wife of Hardin County and state of Ohio; all of the first part and James R Manship of Caroline County in the state of Maryland of the second part whereas the above named Thomas Kemp Sr John Kemp and Ellen [rest was not copied and sent.] Reference: Deed of Bargain and Sale brought by James R Manship of Caroline Co., MD July 12, 1853 Index:PRPO033 p. 640 |
