Jeff Davis has sent us a copy of his new paper, the Taylor county Banner, published in Perry in that county, and it is a prosperous looking sheet all to the good in typography and contents. If you ever saw the twinkle in Jeff's merry blue eyes and heard the tinkle in his pleasant laughter, you would be his friend on the spot, and that's the reason among others, why he numbers his friends by his acquaintances and has the best wishes of the whole Florida press for his success in his new venture. W. E. Battle is his partner in the enterprise.
