FIRST GENERATION

1.  Solomon MORGAN was born about 1765 in Morgan's Creek, Chapel Hill, N.C..  He died in 1819 in Wayne County, Georgia.

He was married to Rocksaleny about 1792 in NC.  Rocksaleny was born about 1765 in NC.  She died in 1840 in Appling County, Georgia.  Solomon MORGAN and Rocksaleny had the following children:

SECOND GENERATION

2.  Elihu MORGAN was born in 1795 in S. C..

He was married to Linnie Nesmith (daughter of Charles Nesmith) about 1815.

He was married to Dency Smith (daughter of Archibald Smith).

3.  Thomas MORGAN was born in 1796 in S. C..

He was married to Judith Harris (daughter of Thompson Harris) about 1816.

He was married to Elizabeth Hall (daughter of Thomas Hall).

4.  Roxelena MORGAN was born in 1800 in S. C..

She was married to Charles Mobley.

5.  John L. MORGAN was born in 1802 in S. C..

He was married to Frances L. Harris about 1822.

6.  Joseph L MORGAN was born in 1804 in Glynn County, Georgia.  He died in 1876 in Inverness, Florida.

He was married to Mary Harris (daughter of Thompson Harris) in 1826 in Appling County, Georgia.  Mary Harris was born in 1810 in Georgia.  Joseph L MORGAN and Mary Harris had the following children:

He was married to Jincy Rich (daughter of Stephen Rich) about 1825.

8.  Solomon W. MORGAN was born in 1809 in S. C..

He was married to Majory P. Geiger about 1829.
THIRD GENERATION

9.  Roxalena MORGAN was born in 1828 in Georgia.

She was married to John Blackburn.

She was married to Jesse A. Swilley.

14.  Thomas L. MORGAN was born in 1838 in Appling County, Georgia.  He died in 1876 in HAMILTON CO., FL.

He was married to Roxann Ratliff (daughter of Allen Ratliff and Sophia Grady) on Dec 23 1858 in HAMILTON CO., FL.  Roxann Ratliff was born in 1842 in Irwin (Worth) Co., Ga..  Thomas L. MORGAN and Roxann Ratliff had the following children:

20.  Joseph Pleasant MORGAN was born in 1863 in Appling County, Georgia.  He died in 1949.

He was married to Ammie GREEN (daughter of Thomas GREEN and Sarah Elizabeth Adams) about 1889.  Ammie GREEN was born on Mar 29 1875.  She died on Nov 11 1918 in LAFAYETTE CO., FL.  Joseph Pleasant MORGAN and Ammie GREEN had the following children:

 29 iv. LOY MORGAN.  DIED AS A CHILD

24.  Solomon MORGAN was born in 1868 in FLORIDA.

He was married to Pearlie Green about 1868.  Pearlie Green was born in HAMILTON CO., FL.

25.  Frances MORGAN was born in 1870 in FLORIDA.

She was married to Berrien Green.  Berrien Green was born in HAMILTON CO., FL.
FIFTH GENERATION

30.  ORILEE MORGAN was born on Aug 5 1892.  She died on May 2 1964.

She was married to Fred Pasco Parker (son of Jasper S. Parker and Lolar Toole).  Fred Pasco Parker was born on Sep 15 1889 in LAFAYETTE CO., FL.  He died on Apr 27 1941.  ORILEE MORGAN and Fred Pasco Parker had the following children:

34.  ROSA MORGAN was born on Dec 23 1894 in JASPER, HAMILTON CO., FL.  She died on Oct 20 1982 in GREENVILLE, MADISON CO., FL.  She was buried on Oct 22 1982 in DAY, LAFAYETTE CO. FL.

She was married to JUDGE WILBURN BELL (son of WILLIAM ANDREW BELL and MARTHA ELIZA MCCALL) in Jul 1910 in LAFAYETTE CO., FL.  JUDGE WILBURN BELL was born on Jun 19 1892 in MAYO JUNCTION, LAFAYETTE CO., FL.  He died on Jul 22 1950 in MAYO JUNCTION, LAFAYETTE CO., FL.  He was buried in DAY CEM., DAY, LAFAYETTE CO., FL.  Judge Wilburn Bell, born June 19, 1892, died July 22, 1950, buried Day Cemetary, Day, Lafayette County, Florida.

My Grandfather, is man that I would like to have known.  However, it was not meant to be.  Through personal contact with his children, my uncles and aunt, I know what I missed.  Grandpa Wilburns's life style has not ventured much from that of his father and grandfather.

As with his father he answered the public call to serve as Tax Collector for Lafayette County.  He served an unblemished tenure of ten years.  In early years Grandpa Wilburn was a member of the Masonic Order.  At a later time he united with Mt. Nebo Primitive Baptist Church.

  ROSA MORGAN and JUDGE WILBURN BELL had the following children:

She was married to Wiford BELL (son of Judge W. Bell and Lular Toole) on Sep 24 1934.
