IDLEWILD CEMETERY

This is the burial location for Baron Frederick Stuben Burpee, Corporal in the 12th New Hampshire Volunteer Regiment during the Civil War, who purchased this tract of land in Duval County in 1877.

This cemetery may be reached from Jacksonville by going out Atlantic Boulevard about sixteen miles to the Girvin Road.
