As time will permit, I will be checking all the entries with a "?" with the marriage certificates at the Courthouse. Many of the earlier records were lost or destroyed. Records before 1859 would have been Duval County Records. The current Marriage books begins at approximately 1873. I have chosen to cut it off at 1926, because the Florida Marriage Index begins with the year 1927 and currently ends with 1991.  

Copies of Marriage license may be ordered from the Clerk of the Court, Recording Department, P. O. Box 698, Green Cove Springs, Florida 32043. The cost for copies of any Official Record is $1.00 per page and an additional $2.00 per documentation for certification. The cost is $3.00 for a certified copy. Please send a SASE and Names, dates, Book and page number.  If you live out of state, they will not accept a personal check, you must use a cashier's check, or better a money order.

It is listed first in Alphabetical order by BRIDE and then in Alphabetical order by GROOM. You will notice that I have some marriages up to 1940's. As no year after 1925 is complete, please do not take this as final.
