He married LUCRETIA DEDGE August 22, 1860 in , Charlton Co, GA, daughter of DANIEL DEDGE and ELLEANOR SULLIVANT. She was born March 27, 1847 in ,Appling, GA/Appling Co., GA, and died June 17, 1924 in Oakland, Clay Co, FL.

found Thomas T. Chesser in, Georgia Census Index 1870, as follows; male, white, age 31, birth place GA, Township Centreville P.O., Microfilm Roll 140, page 332,

Found Thomas Tennyson and Lucretia in the 1900 Clay Co., FL cesus. The only children still living at home were Martha M. age 22, Ada S. age 19, John E. age 13, and William O. age 9. In the census Lucretia is noted to have had 10 births/10 still alive. From family reports that I have gotten off of the internet from other Chesser researchers I have 11 children. I doubt that Lucretia had any more children after the age 53. I think Jack nickname for John & Lucy for Lucretia.
