Patricia A. Bachman, 73, of DunnellonPatricia A. Bachman, of Dunnellon, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004, at Munroe Regional Medical Center. A native of Warren, Ohio, she came here from South Carolina in 1997. She was 73. Mrs. Bachman was a homemaker and loved cruises and embroidery. She was Christian. Survivors include her husband, Edward H.; sons, Edward D. Bachman and Richard H. Bachman, both of Warren, Ohio; brother, Richard Durst of Orlando; and two grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Munroe Regional Medical Center Nursing Scholarship Fund. Roberts Funeral Home, Bruce West Chapel, in Ocala, provided the information. Dorothy Bonham, 71 LecantoDorothy M. Bonham, 71, Lecanto, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, in Crystal River. Born April 14, 1932, in Ottawa, Ohio, to Bert and Anna Jerwis, she moved to Lecanto in 1985. Mrs. Bonham was the owner of Purple Boutique Dog Grooming in Ottawa, Ohio. She was a member of St. Scholastica Catholic Church in Lecanto. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. Bonham; son, James E. Bonham; and sister, Mary Lammers. Survivors include one son, Dennis L. Bonham of Lecanto; and niece and nephew, Peggy and Gene Gary of Ozello. Heinz Funeral Home and Cremation Inverness. Chester Dahlberg, 88 InvernessChester Axel Dahlberg, 88, Inverness, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born April 6, 1915, in Muskegon, Mich., to Axel and Esther (Bequist) Dahlberg, he moved to Inverness in 1978 from Clearwater. Prior to moving to Florida, Mr. Dahlberg resided in Massillon, Ohio, where he was a printer for the local newspaper as well as the Canton, Ohio newspaper. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Erik, in 1996. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Dorothy Johnson Dahlberg of Inverness; a son, Daniel Dahlberg and wife, Cheryl, of Punta Gorda; a brother, Wesley Dahlberg of La Mesa, Calif.; and two grandchildren. She was born July 3, 1925, in Allentown, Pa., to Russell and Hilda Kern and moved here in 1987. She retired after more than 15 years as the head cook for the school district in Salisbury, Del. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Inverness. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Roland R. Dunbar of Inverness; two sons, Robert Dunbar (Sandra) of Charlotte, N.C., and Peter Dunbar (Susan) of Hockessin, Del.; two brothers, Donald Kern of Saylorsburg, Pa., and Thomas Kern of Inverness; one sister, Lucille Poh of Ocala; and five grandchildren. Born Jan. 14, 1946 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Frank J. and Jean Mieso, she moved to Florida in 1997 from Marietta, Ga. She was a legal secretary. She served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years working in the intelligence field. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Parish. She was preceded in death by her cousin, Barbara Mehl, in 2003. Survivors include her mother, Jean Mieso of Beverly Hills; two cousins, Carolyn Hughes (Steve) and Nancy Cardamone; and one uncle, John Mikutel of Beverly Hills. Hooper Funeral Home, Beverly Hills. Alice Kozlowski, 90 HomosassaAlice Agnes Kozlowski, 90, Sugarmill Woods, Homosassa, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2004, in Crystal River. She was born Feb. 12, 1913 in North Chicago, Ill., to Anton and Stella Macrowski and moved here in 1976. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo J. Kozlowski, Sept. 3, 1990. Survivors include two sons, Fredrick P. Kozlowski (Susan) of Gurnee, Ill., and James L. Kozlowski (Janette) of Winthrop Harbor, Ill.; one daughter, Barbara Pavoni (Donald) of Las Vegas, Nev.; one brother, Anton Macrowski of Sugarmill Woods; three sisters, Tillie Barlar of Sugarmill Woods, Helen Cannon of Portland, Ore., and Wanda Orr of Ontario, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Born April 30, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Paul and Ida (Snadowsky) Fontek, she was a lifelong resident of Brooklyn until moving to Inverness in 1980. Mrs. Nathanson retired in 1993 from Citrus Memorial Hospital working the first five years as a nurse's aide and the following seven years as a ward secretary. She was a member of Citrus Memorial Hospital Retirees. She enjoyed swimming, especially at the pool in Whispering Pines Park, Inverness, and reading. She was Jewish. Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Sol Nathanson of Inverness; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and LeeAnn Nathanson of Henderson, Nev.; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Raymond Catala of Beverly Hills; and a sister, Evelyn Kanner of Delray Beach. Fero Funeral Home with Crematory, Beverly Hills. Peggy Smith-Dubble, 82 InvernessPeggy A. (Brown) Smith-Dubble, 82, Inverness, died Friday, Jan. 16, 2004, at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Born July 16, 1921, in Chiriqui Providence of Panama to James and Abbie Brown, she was raised in the Canal Zone of Panama and graduated from Cristobal High School and attended two years at Asbury College in Kentucky. She was married to F. Harvey Smith for 48 years before his death in 1989. She married Roger Dubble in 1992, he died in 2000. Mrs. Dubble was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Ted Brown. She moved to Inverness in 1970 from Margurita Canal Zone, Panama. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Inverness. She was a Grand Lion in the Inverness Lions Club, and a member of the Panama Canal Society of Florida. Survivors include two daughters, Marion Morgan and husband, Tom, of Inverness and Lonnie Montrose of Overland Park, Kan.; a brother, Allen Brown of Fort Worth, Texas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Born Nov. 29, 1919, in Chicago, Ill., to Fred and Clara Wildner, she moved here in 1978 from Wheaton, Ill. She was a secretary for Kraft Foods. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry A.
