Mildred Byczynski, 84 Inverness
Mildred F. Byczynski, 84, Inverness, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, in Lecanto.
Mrs. Byczynski was born Jan. 6, 1919, in Munising, Mich., to Louis and Clara (Seymour) Shamberger. She graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic School and William G. Mather High School. She married Frank Byczynski on April 26, 1941, and was married for 61 years at his death on May 23, 2002. She moved to Inverness in 1981.
She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Theresa Shamberger, Lillian Kresovich and Audrey Campbell, and three brothers, Donald, Louis and Raymond Shamberger.
She is survived by three sisters, Roma Stewart of Madison Heights, Mich., Alice Hautamaki of Munising, Mich., and Clarita Luoma of Inverness; and several nephews and nieces.

Marilynn A. Bentley, 74, of Marion Oaks
Marilynn A. Bentley, of Marion Oaks, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at Legacy Hospice House. A native of Chicago, she moved here in 1989 from Cincinnati. She was 74.
Mrs. Bentley was a homemaker. She was an active member of Marion Oaks Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her sons, William G. Bentley of Greenfield, Ind., Richard A. Bentley of Cincinnati, Robert D. Bentley of Ocala and Donald E. Bentley of Pickerington, Ohio; daughter, Susan A. Bonekamp of Cincinnati; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis G. Bentley.
Memorial contributions may be made to Marion Oaks Presbyterian Church Building Fund or Hospice of Marion County.

Henrietta Dayke, 88 Lecanto
Henrietta A. Dayke, 88, Lecanto and Chester, N.J., died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.
Born May 17, 1915, in Argentina to Anthony and Wihelmina (Blanken) Van Es, she moved to Lecanto from Chester, N.J., in November 2003.
Mrs. Dayke was a retired customer service representative in the home products industry.
She was Methodist.
Survivors include her son, Robert Dayke of Long Valley, N.J.; brother, Maurice Blanken of Glassboro, N.J.; sister, Elizabeth Sinel of Hurley, N.Y.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Marjorie 'Madge' Farrar, 90 Inverness
Marjorie "Madge" J. Farrar, 90, Inverness and Lewisburg, W.Va., died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, in her native Lewisburg, W.Va.
She and her husband, Ambrose Hodges, moved to Clearwater Beach in the 1970s, where they owned and operated a motel at Clearwater Beach. They moved to Inverness in 1973.
She was Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Margie B. and son, Freddie; by her first husband, Ambrose Hodges, and second husband, Ed Farrar.
Survivors include the Norman Laudermik family; her sister, Rosemary Level and her family of Ronceverte, W.Va.; great nieces, Clara Morgan of Palm Harbor and M. Cory Adams of Crystal River; and one great-great niece.

Ellen 'Nellie' Maloney, 79 Inverness
Ellen "Nellie" Maloney, 79, Inverness, died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2004, at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.
Mrs. Maloney was born Oct. 4, 1924, in Waterford, Ireland to Michael and Catherine McKeown. She moved to the United States in 1947. She moved to Inverness in 1985 from Lindenhurst, N.Y.
She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness and the Irish American Club of Beverly Hills.
Survivors include her husband, Matthew Maloney of Inverness; daughter, Breda M. Brocker of Spring Hill; four sons, Matthew Maloney of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Michael Maloney of Babylon, N.Y., Alan Maloney of East Islip, N.Y., and Richard Maloney of Sound Beach, N.Y.; a brother, Richard McKeown of Ireland; and 11 grandchildren.

Alice Morse, 74 Beverly Hills
Alice J. Morse, 74, Beverly Hills, died Thursday, Jan. 1, 2004, in Beverly Hills.
She was born in Newburgh, N.Y., to Elvin and Mary Ann (Vanasco) Morse and she moved here eight years ago.
She was an administrative assistant for a physician's office for 12 years and then worked at the Hudson Valley Collection Bureau for 10 years in Newburgh, N.Y.
She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Mt. St. Mary's in Newburgh, N.Y.
She volunteered at Cornwall Hospital in Cornwall, N.Y., and also at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness.
She was a member of the Beverly Hills Recreation Association. She enjoyed antiques, cooking and playing bingo.
She was Catholic.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph C. Bivona and wife, Deneen, of Keswick, Va., and Alan Bivona of Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.; two daughters, Cynthia Jo Kirker and husband, Rick, of Boulder, Colo., and Deborah Work of Lexington, Va.; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nephews and nieces.
