State of Florida } Bradford County } Before me County Judge in and for said County personally came John Croft who being duly sworn deposes and says that he is one of the witnesses to the last Will and Testament of John J. Roberts late of Bradford County deceased, and that he signed the same at the request of the Testator and heard him declare the same to be his last Will and Testament and that he saw the other Witnesses J.P. Parmenter, J.E. Dekle, & Thomas P. Croft sign the same and that the same was signed by Testator In the presence of all the Witnesses. John Croft Sworn & subscribed to } before me this 20th day } of January 1897. } J R Richard County Judge [next page] 32 In the name of God, Amen. I, John J Roberts of the County of Bradford and the State of Florida, being of sound mind and memory blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will and testament.
To my beloved daughter Nancy A Langford one share. To my beloved daughter Emily Dowling one share. To the heirs of my beloved son B J Roberts, one share, or one fifth of the entire stock of cattle. I t is my will and desire that the remainder of all my personal estate and also my real estate be sold to the highest bidder and the proceeds of the sale to be equally divided as follows.
To my beloved daughter Emily Dowling, share and share alike. To the heirs of my beloved son B J Roberts, one share to amount to one fifth of the total or aggregate amount of my entire estate. After deducting the amount of cattle already drawn. It is my will and desire that my executor herein named shall have full control and and management of all my property both real and personal, and manage the same as he may think best in the interest of all the heirs concerned. I do nominate and appoint Matthew L McKinney to be the sole executor of this my last will and testament.
