Will of Amos Bailey, Starke, Bradford County, FL 1896
Starke Aug 10, 1896 I Amos Bailey of the County of Bradford and State of Florida, being of sound mind and memory, in view of the uncertainty of life, so make and ordain this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and and all Testamentary dispositions by me heretofore made Item 1 - I will and desire that my funeral and Testamentary expenses including those of my last illness shall first and promptly be paid, and then my other just debts. Item 2 - I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Rachel A. Bailey, all the residue of of my property both real and personal, wheresoever the same may be situated including notes Bonds Mortgages Choses in action and rights of action of any kind and discription, House hold and Kitchen furniture, farming implements and all farm stock to have and to hold the same in fee simple, and by title, absolute for her own and enjoyment, and control and with full power to dispose of the same at will and in any manner she may deem fit.
Item 3 - I hereby constitute and appoint my wife Rachael A. Bailey, Executrix of this Will with full power to proceed in the premises, after proof and Record of the same without being required to enter into Bond for the faithful execution of such trust it being the intent and purpose of the bequest herein made to give my said Wife, as complete and unrestricted dominion over the property and effects the subject of such request, as I my self could exercise over it, if living.

State of Florida } Bradford County } By the Judge for said County, Order Admitting Will, to Probate
The above cause comeing on to be heard this twenty fifth day of November AD 1896: And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the foregoing examination of above subscribing witness to the foregoing affidavit is sufficient proof, upon which to admit said Exhibited last Will and Testament of the said Amos Bailey deceased, to Probate, and it is therefore ordered, adjudged and decreed, that, and the same is hereby admitted to Probate, this 25th day of November, AD 1896
