Sheridan County ObituariesSmalley, Lucile Berniece DavisSheridan Press, October 7, 1999 Lucile Berniece Smalley Lucile Berniece Smalley, 86, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, in the San Antonio Hospital in Upland, Calif. Graveside services are 3 p.m. Saturday in the Big Horn Mountain Lodge No. 43, Acacia Section of the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Canon Raymond Clark officiating. Arraignments are by Champion Funeral Home. Mrs. Smalley was born May 7, 1913, in Decatur, Ill., to Harry and Minnie (Moore) Davis. On June 28, 1934. she married Harry Arthur Smalley. The couple owned and operated the OK Barber Shop for many years. Mrs. Smalley also worked for a number of years for Mudras Saddle Shop in Sheridan. She loved to travel and loved spending time in the mountains. Mrs. Smalley preceded her in death Oct. 21, 1985. Survivors include her sister, Dorothy Parrish of Huntington Beach, Calif., and a nephew. |
