Kelley, Margaret Lang

Margaret L. Kelley, 91, of Sheridan died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County. A private family service will be next week. Arrangements are with Ferries Funeral home. Mrs. Kelley was born Aug. 16, 1909, in Denver to Charles and Minnie (Carey) Lang. She grew up and graduated from high school in Denver. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley. She married George Kelley in Ohio on Dec. 30, 1933. They lived in Denver until 1994 when they moved to Sheridan to be near their daughter. Mr. Kelley died in 1995. She enjoyed reading and being with her granddaughters. She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Roxie Barkhurst and Virginia Thomson. Survivors include a daughter, Betsy Kelley, Sheridan; two granddaughters; and one niece and two nephews.
