Madison R. Campbell, one of. the oldest and most respected residents, passed away at his home, 27 North Brooks street, Sunday. Funeral services will be held froth the home tomorrow morning at 9:30, Rev. J. H. Andress conducting the services, and Interment in Mount Hope.

Deceased was born in Ashland, Ohio, on December 10, and would have been seventy years of age next December. He had been a resident of Sheridan county for ever eleven years, residing part of the time on a ranch and the past several years in Sheridan. He had been ill for a long time. He is survived by his widow, a son and a daughter and a grandson. The son is Frank Campbell and the daughter, Mrs. Nellie Hall, both of Sheridan. The grandson is Milton Campbell.

INJURIES FATAL TO MILTON J. CAMPBELL
Former Sheridan Man Expires of Hurts Suffered In Accident.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p. m., from Champion's drawing room for Milton James Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Campbell of Sheridan, who died Saturday noon in a hospital at Camp Lockett, Calif., of injuries suffered in an a mobile accident Jan. 2 at El Sentro Calif. Rev. Harry B. Gordon will officiate.

Milton was born Nov. 3, 1909, in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan high school in 1928 and from the University of Southern California in 1933. On his return to Sheridan following graduation, he was employed for a while at the Economy drug store and later purchased a drug store in Clearmont, where he resided for 14 months. He was member of the Sheridan Elks lodge and of the Congregational church.

After selling the Clearmont store, he moved to California and was employed under service as pharmacist at the Camp Lockett post hospital. His wife, the former Betty Kay Kreger, was a nurse at the same hospital.

Survivors include the widow whom he married in Yuma, Ariz., in 1941; a son, Myrl James, and his parents of Sheridan. A brother Howard, is taking specialized training in the army.

Tentative arrangements have been made to hold funeral services Monday for Milton Campbell, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Campbell of Sheridan, who died last week in a California hospital from injuries suffered in a car wreck Jan. 2. Rev. Harry B. Gordon will officiate at the services but the place has not been selected. Champion's Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

The body was accompanied to Sheridan this week by the widow. Betty Campbell; his father and his father-in-law, Frank Krieger.
