This is the Streeter Ranch in Sussex in 1900. David and Anna Streeter homesteaded here on the banks for the Powder River. Their son John homesteaded the former Scotch Outfit nearby. John hired out shearing sheep and breaking horses, and was known to compete in a few local rodeos. He also owned some greyhound dogs he used to chase down coyotes. He had some of the skins made into a blanket to use while traveling in a buggy, which is on display at the Hoofprints museum.
