Mrs. Frances Tallmadge Called To Rest

When Mrs. Frances Tallmadge recently passed away another link that bound the first generation of Sheboygan pioneers with the next one was broken. She was the daughter of John H. Jones, a member of one of Sheboygan's early law and insurance firms, Jones & Sumner, and her mother was Lucy, wife of John H. Jones, and daughter of Deacon and Mrs. Daniel Brown, both also Sheboygan pioneers. Mrs. Tallmadge was actively interested in civic organization, among them the Daughters of the American Revolution, the King's Daughters, and the Sheboygan County Historical society. As a member of the museum boards of the first and last named organizations, she took and active interest in the installation of the Museum of Sheboygan County recently opened in the old Sheboygan school building.
