Sheboygan Pioneer Monthly Supplement

Henry Stannard 90 Years Young

Our honored friend, Henry Stannard, pioneer of Greenbush, a veteran of the Civil war, and one of the few still living members of the Grand Army of the Republic, of the Wisconsin department of which honored organization he was once commander, recently celebrated his ninetieth birthday at his Greenbush home where he received hearty congratulations of relatives and friends upon his entrance into the tenth decade of his well-spent life, still alert of mind and body and of interest in domestic and world affairs, and an enthusiastic booster of our Historical society. That he may live happily to celebrate his life's centenary is the sincere hope of his many friends, including ye editor.
