Sheboygan Pioneer Monthly Supplement

Eugene W. Blocki


On Friday, November 27th, 1925, Eugene W. Blocki passed away. Mr. Blocki was born near Koenigsberg, Prussia on October 1, 1847, and with his parents came to this county the following year. The family settled in Sheboygan, where Mr. Blocki spent his youth. When a young man he went to Chicago and engaged in the wholesale drug business. Five years ago he returned to Sheboygan.

Mr. Blocki is survived by one brother, John Blocki of Chicago, and several nephews and nieces of Chicago and Sheboygan. His wife preceded him in death fourteen years ago.

Funeral services were conducted from the residence of F. A. Blocki Monday afternoon, November 30, Reverend Father Curtiss officiated, and burial was made at Wildwood cemetery. The pallbearers were Emil Clarenbach, Gust Huette, Paul T. Krez, Ivar Lohman, Eugene Pantzer, Herman Roenitz and G. W. Witte, all sons of Sheboygan pioneers.
