The marriage of Mrs. Anna Plaetzke of this city and Adam Zimmermann of the town of Plymouth, was solemnized last Saturday morning at St. John's Catholic Church; Rev. Father July reading the service. The bride was garbed in a dress of navy blue tricotire and a dress hat of black. She was attended by Miss Katherine Zimmermann, a daughter of the groom, and her own daughter, Miss Margaret Plaetzke, acted as flower girl. The groom was attended by his son, Edward Zimmermann. Miss Zimmermann wore a brown crepe dress while Miss Plaetzke wore a dress of light blue silk and carried a basket of daisies. Following the ceremony a wedding breakfast was served at the home of the bride. Sunday morning the couple started to motor to Port Washington where they expected to attend church and visit relatives. An auto accident at Onion River brought their trip to an abrupt and unfortunate end however.
