Civil War List of Accused Deserters

State of Wisconsin, Office of the Secretary of State

I, Thomas S. Allen, Secretary of State of the State of Wisconin, do here-by certify,that the foregoing list contains the names of all deserters from Wisconsin military organizations, together with the place of residence and date of desertion of each, as appears from the certified list of deserters procured from the War Department of the United States, pursuant to the provisions of section 1, chapter 67, of the General Laws of 1867, corrected from the records of the office of the Adjutant General of the State of Wisconsin.
