William and Margaret Grasse

Fifty years of marriage have been marked by William and Margaret Eversdyk Grasse, 909 Ontario Ave., Sheboygan.

The celebrants exchanged their marriage vows Jan. 28, 1939 in Milwaukee in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Frederick Proehl of Layton Boulevard Lutheran Church.

Now retired, Mr. and Mrs. Grasse worked for Wisconsin Public Service Corp. and Luedtke Food Market, respectively. They have one daughter, Barbara of Milwaukee.

Mr. Grasse was born in Sheboygan April 25, 1908. He is president of the Sheboygan Old Timers Baseball Association, and affiliated with the Hoakey Doakes and Kohler Skat Club. Mrs. Grasse's birth in Sheboygan took place on Oct. 6, 1913. She is past president of the Sheboygan Women's Bowling Association.

The Grasses are members of The Lutheran Church of Our Redeemer.
