Fritsch Pair Honored
The family of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Fritsch Sr., R. 3, Sheboygan, entertained
guests Sunday, June 19, in observance of the couple's golden wedding
anniversary.
A dinner for relatives was held at The Hoffmann's at Riverdale followed by an
open house reception at the Town of Wilson Hall.
The former Hulda E. Kraemer and Fritsch were married June 18, 1927, at
Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Mosel. The late Rev. Martin Denninger
officiated.
Among the guests at the celebration were those who had been attendants at the
couple's wedding a half century ago. They included Norma Kraemer and Leora
Gartman Schaefer of Sheboygan, Esther Jankow Gosse, Kohler, and Arthur
Kraemer, Sheboygan Falls.
The celebrants, who have been engaged in farming, have four sons and a
daughter, Jerome Fritsch, Menomonee Falls, Harvey Fritsch, Sheboygan, Erwin
W. and LeRoy Fritsch, R. 3, Sheboygan, and Mrs. Lloyd (Lorraine) Gartman, R.
3, Sheboygan. The family also includes 13 grandchildren.
Mrs. Fritsch was born on Aug. 31, 1906, in the Town of Mosel. Her husband's
birth in the Town of Wilson occurred on March 18, 1906.
The couple belong to Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Wilson. He has served
as a board of education member, an elder, trustee and deacon and Mrs. Fritsch
has been a member of the Altar Guild and a vice president, treasurer and
Christian growth leader of the Ladies Aid.
Fritsch was a clerk of the former Riverview School District I in the Town of Wilson and retired in April after having served 28 years as treasurer.
