There was a double celebration at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. G. End, Windsor-av, Wauwatosa, Thanksgiving day,
which, in addition to being a national holiday, was the fifty-seventh anniversary of the wedding of Mrs. End's
parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Franey. Mr. and Mrs. Franey are the parents of twelve children, seven of whom are
living. The children present at the festivities were: T. F. Franey, Campbellsport, Wis.; J. E. Franey, Milwaukee;
Mrs. Henry Hensen, Mrs. C. H. Hamlin, Davenport, Ia.; Mrs. End, Wauwatosa; Mrs. G. T. Elliott, Chicago. Covers were
laid for twenty.
Mr. & Mrs. Martin Franey Fifty-Seventh Anniversary
The home of William G. End of Wauwatosa was the scene of a double celebration Thursday. In addition to the usual
Thanksgiving celebration, the fifty-seventh wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Franey, parents of Mrs. End,
was also celebrated.
Mr. and Mrs. Franey were formerly of this city and are the parents of twelve children, seven of whom are living.
Mr. Franey was born in County Mayo, near Castle Bar, Ireland in 1837 and came to America at the age of 5 years. Mrs.
Franey was born in Tiffin, Ohio in 1843.
At dinner, covers were laid for twenty. The children present were T.F. Franey of Campbellsport, Jack Franey of
Milwaukee, Mrs. C.H. Hamlin of Davenport Iowa, Mrs. Henry Henson of Milwaukee, Mrs. Willam G. End of Wauwatosa and
Mrs. George T. Elliott of Chicago.
