The Zimmermanns Have Golden Event Observance

The family celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Zimmermann's 50-year event on Saturday was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Zimmermann, the couple's son and daughter-in-law, who reside in Greendale. The address of the honored pair is 2224 S. 15th St.

Germany was the country in which Mrs. Zimmermann, the former Anna Reimer, was born on Jan. 20, 1899 to Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Emily) Reimer. The bridegroom of five decades ago is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Louis (Louise) Zimmermann and their son's birth occurred in Sheboygan on Oct. 15, 1898.

Marriage of the couple on June 24, 1922 was performed by the Rev. Edward Krause in Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

Retired since 1962, Mr. Zimmermann worked at Dillingham Manufacturing Co. for 29 years. His hobby is woodworking and his wife enjoys working in her flower garden.

Besides the son listed above, there is another son, Willis Zimmermann of Sheboygan and three grandchildren.
