Observes Golden Wedding



Plymouth - {Special} - Married on September 1, 1886, Mr. and Mrs. Edward G. Brazelton will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary this year. They will hold the celebration on Sunday, August 30, and will have an open house from 2:30 in the afternoon throughout the evening, for friends and relatives who wish to extend their congratulations.

Mr. Brazelton was born on February 4, 1861, in the city of Sheboygan, the son of Isaac and Jane Brazelton. When he was only a month old they moved to Batavia where they owned a farm and store. They lived here for 47 years. In the year 1886, on September 1, Mr. Brazelton married Ottelia Stolper, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Stolper of Batavia.

They moved to Plymouth in 1908 when Mr. Brazelton took the job of buyer for the Stolper Brothers company. He held this position for more than twenty years and then gave it up to lead a retired life.
