Mr. And Mrs. Otto Pannier Celebrate 50th Anniversary

The golden anniversary of their marriage was celebrated Thanksgiving Day, by Mr. and Mrs. Otto Pannier, Random Lake. To mark the event, an open house was held during the afternoon, at St. John's Lutheran School Hall at Sherman Center, where a supper was served relatives. Among the guests were two of the original attendants at the wedding, Herb - and Herman Mueller.

Each celebrant's parents were life-long residents of Random Lake. The former Elizabeth Mueller, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Louis Mueller, was born April 4, 1885. Mr. Pannier is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Pannier, and his birth occured April 30, 1885.

On Nov. 26, 1908, the couple was married in Sheman Center, by the Rev. Edmund Huebner. Mr. Pannier's occupation has been farming. Both he and his wife are members of St. John's Lutheran Church, where he served as an elder for 15 years.

Three sons and two daughters were born to the honorees, and are Roland and Victor, Random Lake, Harold, San Diego, Calif., Mrs. Lucille Koppelmann, St. Louis, Mo., and Mrs. Verna Preder, Random Lake. Fairly good health is enjoyed by the celebrants whose family also includes 21 grandchildren.

{Added Note from Contributor: Otto Pannier was my grandmother Clara's brother}
