The Raphael Redings Mark 50th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Raphael Reding, Haven, celebrated the golden wedding anniversary of their wedding day Sunday.

A family dinner was served at Durwood's Flamingo Club and an open house for relatives and friends was held at the home of the couple's son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace N. Reding, 1824 N. 23rd St.

The Redings, whose family also includes two grandchildren, were married June 2, 1925, at St. Peter Claver church. Reding and the former Ardella Siegworth exchanged their vows before the Rev. Francis Pischery.

Mrs. Reding was born July 4, 1906, in the Town of Wilson. Her husband, whose birth occurred April 5, 1904, in Sheboygan, has operated Reding Sales and Service at Haven for the past 47 years. The implement branch of the business was discontinued two years ago, but the auto sales and light service work continues.

Town treasurer for the Town of Mosel, Reding is a member of the Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus and Deputy Sheriff's Association. He and his wife are affiliated with Holy Name Church.
