Golden Event Is Observed By A Sheboygan Pair

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hoelle, Sr., 1016 St. Clair Ave., celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Illinois. They spent several weeks visiting in Chicago, Oak Lawn and other suburbs.

Their wedding date was chosen by their granddaughter, Miss Lana Ruth Hoelle, who became the bride of Hillard Allen on June 6, the day she was graduated from high school. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hoelle, Jr. of Oak Lawn.

Numerous parties honored the 50-year-wed couple, who were recipients of many gifts to mark the event. They lived in Chicago 35 years after their marriage and in Louisville, Ky., for a span of 12 years.

The former Emma Wilemite was born in Pennsylvania and came to Sheboygan with her parents, when she was one year of age. Chicago was the birthplace of Mr. Hoelle. With his parents he arrived in Sheboygan, when he was a young man. After a year in this city, he and his father were sent to Kentucky by the Sheboygan branch of Armour Leather Co. When the golden event celebrant returned to Chicago, he was employed by the Kraft Co. and the Chicago Sun until his retirement.

Besides their son listed above, the couple had a daughter, who died as a young child. There are five grandchildren in the family.
