1880 FEDERAL CENSUS

This is the first census that was taken in what is now the town of How, Oconto County, Wisconsin. This was taken a year after How was made a part of Oconto County, taken from Shawano County. At that time it included what is now the towns of Breed and Armstrong.

You will note that this collection does not contain the 1890 census. This census was destroyed by fire in Washington, D.C. on January 10, 1921.
