Mr. Vollmer was born on May 24, 1859 in Calumet county
while Mrs.
Following their marriage they took up residence on
a farm in Calumet
For eight years, Mr. Vollmer was employed in the paper
mill and for
Their eldest son, John is in Portland, Ore, as is their
third daughter,
Louisa entered the Holy family Convent at Manitowac
about 20 years ago,
Aurelia, Mrs. W. C. Nelson, is a resident of San Francisco.

There are 14 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren.

June 2, 1938 Wedding Announcement - Newspaper: "At the nuptual high mass Wednesday morning ( June 2 1938 ) at ten o'clock in the St Michael's Catholic church of Suring, Miss Mavis Holl, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. J. (Matthew) Holl, of town of How, became the bride of Anthony Otradovec, Green Bay, the son of Antone Otradovec (and the late Margaret Miller), town of How. The Rev. George M. Weix officiated. Lohgrin's wedding march was played by Mrs. A J. Drengler and "Ava Maria" was sung by Robert Drengler. The maid of honor was iss Dorothy Bennett, of Wausa; the bride's maids were Rose Otradovec, sister of the groom, and Miss Loraine Holl, cousin of the bride. Donna Holl, a niece of the bride , was flowergirl. The groom was attended by Charles Malueg (later to become the husband of Rose Otradovec - see above), of town of How, and Peter Holl of Green Bay. A wedding dinner was given for one hundred guests at noon at the home of the bride's parents. A wedding dance was held for the couple Wednesday evening at Gillett. After the honeymoon the couple will make their home at 520 Columbus avenue, Green Bay, where the groom is employed by the F.C. Schilling company. The bride is a graduate of Wausau high school with the class of '37 and the groom of the Suring high school with the class of '29. Those present at the wedding from out of town were:
